Week of Terrible ICE Injustices, Immigrant left to die - Demand the resignation of Jule Myers
This week we've seen a number of injustices on the part of ICE, some leading to death. Join the Massaschusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition's call to action! On Tuesday, August 7th, Edmar Alves de Araujo, a 34 year-old Brazilian immigrant and a resident of Milford, MA was arrested after a routine traffic stop in Rhode Island and taken into ICE custody. His sister rushed to the police with Edmar's medication and pleaded in vain, trying to convince authorities that Edmar needed to take his daily medication for epilepsy.
