ACTION: March for immigration reform in San Jose

Tomorrow, Student Advocates for Higher Education (SAHE) will be organizing a march, rally and press conference to raise awareness of the urgent need for comprehensive immigration reform. If you are in the area, come out to show support!

The struggle for just and humane immigration reform is heating up. The next few months are crucial to ensure that Congress moves to introduce legislation that creates a humane pathway for legalization for the 12 million undocumented immigrants, reduce the backlogs, etc. How are we going to achieve this? By being active participants of change!

This Wednesday July 22 from 11am to 2pm in Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park (Downtown San Jose), Student Advocates for Higher Education (SAHE) at San Jose State University and other student and community groups will have a rally, march and press conference to bring awareness of the need for immigration reform. We will be recruiting folks to join the national campaing Reform Immigration For America's text campaing.
