Good Friday march held to protest raids that led to arrest of 42 people

ALBANY — Using the arrest, false trial and crucifixion of Jesus as a backdrop for their cause, advocates for immigration law reform rallied in Albany on Good Friday to rebuke a series of raids this week around the Capital Region.

Members of ARISE, A Regional Initiative Supporting Empowerment, stood outside the Albany County Courthouse asking state and federal leaders to stop the raids that resulted in the arrests of 42 people this week.
